Green Technology@UniMAP has been established on July 2010 with intention to induced innovation in green material technology among researchers in Universiti Malaysia Perlis. The mission is to ‘Develop environmental friendly product using natural polymeric materials’. Green Technology@UniMAP is growing collaboration pursuing research of green polymeric concrete between King Abdul Aziz City Science & Technology (KACST) with grant 1.5 million from July 2010 until Jun 2013.
Green Technology are able combine their expertise and skills in various fields to support the academic structure in the generation of human capital that contributes to the development of high quality research. In addition, the establishment is important for improving UniMAP-KACST contributions in research and education. This institute can become a pillar of academic activities, especially regarding to research, development and innovation.
